SaleTrail helps users save yard sale details, import information from screenshots or shared posts, and plan a route.

Information We Collect

• Account information, such as email address.
• Profile information, such as an optional home or starting address and wanted keywords.
• Yard sale details that you enter or import, including addresses, dates, notes, tags, source links, and original post text.
• Images or screenshots you upload for text extraction.
• Approximate location-related information derived from addresses you search or save.
• Purchase status if Route Pro or paid features are enabled.
• Technical information needed to operate the app, such as logs, diagnostics, and crash reports if crash reporting is added.

How We Use Information

We use this information to create and manage your account, save your yard sale list, extract sale details, suggest addresses, build route lists, provide paid features, and maintain app security and reliability.

Service Providers

SaleTrail may use Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and Edge Functions; OpenAI for OCR and structured extraction; Mapbox or another geocoding provider for address suggestions; and Apple or Google for app distribution and purchases.

Images And Imported Posts

When you upload a screenshot or paste/shared post content, SaleTrail may process that content to extract yard sale details. Screenshots and post text can contain personal information. Only upload content you are comfortable processing in the app.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete saved yard sales, sign out, and delete your account from Profile in the app.

Data Retention

We keep account and saved sale information while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. Account deletion permanently removes your account, saved sales, route lists, and uploaded sale images.

Children

SaleTrail is not intended for children under 13.
